शिव उवाच |
Lord Shiva said (to Upamanyu)



पिताऽहं ते महादेवो माता ते जगदम्बिका |
वरान्वरय सुप्रीत्या मनोभिलषितान्परान् || 55 ||
I am your father, the Great God, your mother is the Mother of the world (Parvati). Ask for a boon with good love, what (your) mind most desires.
