विद्येश्वरसंहितायां साध्यसाधनखंडे भस्मधारणवर्णनोनाम चतुर्विंशोऽध्यायः

सूत उवाच ॥

 

Suta Goswami said

सर्वतीर्थेषु यत्पुण्यं सर्वतीर्थेषु यत्फलम् |
तत्फलं समवाप्नोति भस्मस्नानकरो नरः || 77 ||

All the punya (merit) there is in all tirthas (places of pilgrimage), all the fruits one can get in all tirthas, that fruit a man obtains who bathes in ash.
