शिवपुत्रजननवर्णनं नाम द्वितीयोऽध्यायः
Description of birth of son of Shiva – Chapter 2



ब्रह्मोवाच |
Brahma said (to Narada)



मार्गमासे सिते पक्षे तिथौ षष्ठ्यां मुनीश्वर |
प्रादुर्भावोऽभवत्तस्य शिवपुत्रस्य भूतले || 68 ||
Great sage, in the month of Margashirsa, in the bright fortnight, on the sixth day, the appearance (birth) of that son of God happened on the earth.
