सूत उवाच |
Suta Goswami said (to the sages)


सोमेश्वरश्च नाम्नाऽऽसीद्विख्यातो भुवनत्रये |
क्षयकुष्ठादिरोगाणां नाशकः पूजनाद्द्विजाः || 51 ||
And sages, famous in the three worlds by the name of Someshwara, (it is) capable of destroying diseases including tuberculosis and leprosy by worshipping.
